EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University senior left-hander Cam Voss has been named the PSAC East Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Voss has not allowed a run and yielded just one hit through 13 innings of work this season. He tossed five shutout innings against Saint Rose in game one of a doubleheader on Sunday. Voss recorded 11 strikeouts and issued just three walks.

Voss has racked up a team-high 27 strikeouts and has held opposing hitters to a .027 batting average through three starts.

The Pitcher of the Week honor is the third of Voss' collegiate career, as he also garnered the award last week and on March 18, 2019.

The Warriors pushed their win streak to eight straight games with a pair of wins over Saint Rose on Sunday and now sit at 9-1 overall on the season.

ESU jumped three spots to second in the latest NCBWA Atlantic Region Rankings. The Warriors received one first-place vote while Millersville received 11 votes to top the poll.
