Once again, it is time to address the unfounded statements of the Democrats, and their political arm, the liberal media.
It's amazing how Democrats talk out of both sides of their mouths. Early on Trump calls out the Chinese over the corona virus and says travel to and from China should be banned. Democrats call him a racist. Under this and other criticism from the UN he backs off. Democrats say he did not act swiftly or strongly enough against the Chinese. Democrats criticize him for not having enough equipment stored for a pandemic. In 2003, President Bush creates the Strategic National Stockpile, which would have respirators, masks, protective equipment, ventilators and hospital beds. In 2009, during the H1N1 outbreak, the Obama administration depletes the stockpile, and then does not provide the funds to replenish the supplies used. In 2008, Bush launched a project to stockpile ventilators. The Obama administration, contracts with a California company (maybe another 1 of his pet companies?) to provide 40000. In 2014, after not even delivering 1, the company pulls out of the contract. Obama now brings in a new company, and 5 years later, when the FDA signs off on the design, the government places an order for 10000. Sounds like a lot of these failures came under the Obama administration.
Charge number 2: Trump is a dictator who acts like a king.
Franklin Roosevelt, inherits an economic calamity and uses it to pass the Social Security Act. This act took money from the private sector, when it needed it to create jobs, and gave it to the government. The act stated that to get benefits you had to wait until age 65 when life expectancy at the time was 61. This act did nothing to ease the current unemployment, but did turn over our rights, to decide our future, to the government. Oh, and by the way there has only been one president to run for the office more than twice. Our first true dictator, and the man, who when the Supreme Court complained that he was expanding the powers of the presidency, threatened the court with making it irrelevant by increasing their number of judges to fit his agenda, a concept that Democrats still embrace today. In the words of his own cabinet, his administration did nothing to ease unemployment. It was ended by WWII.
Obama comes into office facing a mortgage crisis, and immediately spends his first 2 years forcing national healthcare on the people. Again, this did nothing to help the economy, but it did take away another one of the peoples rights. On October 25th 2010, Obama said he was president, not a king, when asked to do something about deporting illegal immigrants. He reiterated on March 28th 2011, but then unilaterally created the DACA program, an act that congress refused to pass. And lets not forget his treaty with Iran, something that would never get through the Senate, by just saying it was not a treaty. Who are the real kings here?
As I've said in the past Republicans want to lead, and Democrats want to rule. Look back through history for yourself and see which party takes away your God given rights, or puts the restrictions on them.
I would like to make one last comment. It is my opinion, that if Obama had the results, in his first 3 years of office, as Trump has, Democrats would have been proclaiming him the greatest president ever and that the constitution should be changed to let him be president for ever.
