Pocono Township police said Thursday they are looking for a teenage girl who ran away from home on Tuesday.

Rlani "Lana" Rojas, 16, was last seen Tuesday about 5 a.m. when she left home on foot, police said. Rojas left a note saying she was "running away," police said.

Rojas is 5 feet, 2 inches, about 150 pounds with purple hair, glasses and a nose ring, police said.

She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.

Her mother, Rosa Maldonado, called police and reported her daughter was a runaway juvenile, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the non-emergency number at 570-992-9911 and ask to speak to a Pocono Township Police officer.
