The Acceptance Project, which aims "to give students from all backgrounds, regardless of their opinions, the opportunity to engage in civil dialogue about the controversial issues facing our nation and the world," is taking applications for a summer camp.

The five-day TAP into Summer camp will train students to bring The Acceptance Project, which was founded at Stroudsburg High School, to their high schools. It will be held at the Kirkridge Retreat Center in Bangor.

Three students from each high school in Monroe County will be accepted, and their costs will be covered by a grant from the Weiler Family Foundation.

Students can apply at www.tapintosummer.com/become-an-ambassador. Applications are due by May 5.
