It’s hammer time, ladies. Monroe County Habitat for Humanity will hold it’s 4th annual She Nailed It competition starting at 1 p.m., Sunday, May 17.

Teams of four women are invited to go head-to-head once again in a nail-biting, nail-hammering competition to see who can hammer the most nails into a 2-by-4 plank of wood at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort at Shawnee on Delaware.

According to Habitat executive director Kelly Kemmerer, teams can be made up of individuals, businesses and organizations. Weiler Abrasives Group has held the championship crown since 2018.

“Weiler has already committed to defending its title,” Kemmerer said, “so the competition promises to be intense.”

Habitat for Humanity relies on the She Nailed It competition as their primary source for fundraising each year, which goes directly towards funding their goal of completing 30 Home Preservation projects each year.

Teams, sponsors, and vendors are invited to register for She Nailed It by registering online Habitat is also seeking live entertainment.
