Annual Cruise: Miller-Keystone Blood Center’s 26th annual "Cruise Aboard the LifeLine" signature fundraiser takes place from Saturday to Aug. 8, and this year the event goes virtual. Summer 4-H Science Fun Virtual Day Camp: The 4-H program of Monroe County will be offering a four-week virtual 4-H Day Camp for youth, ages 8 to 12 (as of Jan. 1). Summer 4-H Science Fun will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 5, 12 and 19 and the last session from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 26. Participants will learn about the Basics of gardening, healthy animals, spotted lanternfly and stormwater education. Camp is free to current registered Monroe County 4-H members. Non 4-H members can also participate, by joining 4-H (must pay a $20 Educational Resources Fee, per child, per year). Registration is required by July 20. Sherman Theater Golf Fundraiser: The Sherman Theater will host a Golf Fundraiser on Sept. 14 at Mount Airy Casino Resort, 312 Woodland Road, Paradise Township.
