Due to the risks associated with the COVID-19 public health crisis and in accordance with the Center for Disease Control and the Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines the Pocono Chamber of Commerce has decided to postpone this year’s Pickle Me Poconos Festival, initially scheduled for Sept. 26.
Organizers of the festival, in its second year, said that the risks are too high to move forward with the festival this year. Initially hosted in October 2019, the Pickle Me Poconos Festival has a home on Crystal Street in East Stroudsburg. The first year the festival saw thousands of visitors fill the streets and area businesses to celebrate all things pickled. The PCC’s Pocono Leaders of Tomorrow Committee is currently in the process of moving some of the initially planned activities to an interactive virtual format.
Pickle lovers are invited to follow the official Pickle Me Poconos social media pages to stay up to date on all updates regarding virtual Pickle Me Poconos activities and the 2021 Pickle Me Poconos Festival. Facebook: @PickleMePoconos or Instagram: @Pickle_Me_Poconos.
