Mini Box Car Race: Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Victory Church will host a mini box car race at 1 p.m. Feb. 29 at the church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville. For children ages 2 to 12. Grandparents Raising Grandchildren: An event for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 10 at the Eldred Community Center, 516 Kunkletown Road, Kunkletown. Pennsylvania Department of Aging Secretary Robert Torres and Monroe County Area Agency on Aging Director Brian LaVacca will speak at 10 a.m. followed by a question-and-answer session. Book Donations Requested: Friends of the Eastern Monroe Public library are now accepting donations of good condition books, DVDs, CDs and audio books. Donations can be dropped off at the Hughes Library circulation desk, 1002 N. Ninth St., Stroudsburg until May 15.
